FRIDAY

The month of August was my birthday month so I guess you can say I took off, but I'm baaaaack!
So sorry my sweet Friday for neglecting you so long, it won't happen again because you're important to me.
Vacation made it possible for you to be with me all seven days of the week...everyday was special, but those days are now a distant memory for I am back to work and I must now await the return to normalcy.

Friday Eve yet again, I'm feeling a bit anxious I must admit, but still looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled weekend with no real plans made except a made-up mind to have a good time, whether at home or away.
Friday, you are truly on your way...do you still love me baby?

It's Friday Eve and I'm excited about what the weekend brings to me. To you my dear friend Friday, I apologize for last weekend when you were replaced with the Fourth of July celebration. Life is not always fair and I missed you...
I was off work and stayed at home to do some much needed organizing...still not finished.
Having a day off and accomplishing something big was worth the day in so you were not really  replaced, merely shared.

Wow! It's all I got
It's been a long day even though I never forgot about you my sweet Friday, you're the reason it was so much fun.  You really know how to show up and show out. I had such a fulfilling day from watching people at my job prepare for an extraordinary evening of fun and fellowship...boy do we do things in grand style. So impressed, amazed but not surprised, after all, God was present.

It's About Friday

As I prepare for work tomorrow, picking out clothes to wear, lunch to pack, and plans for the week, I can't help wondering how Monday can come so fast. It never gave Friday a chance...so swiftly it arrives and takes no prisoners. But Friday will assume its position and arrive on time as Thursday goes to sleep....not to worry, Friday will return and I will be waiting.

A note to Friday

As I sit here on this Friday eve, waiting and longing for you, I know in my heart I will have to wait...you're not one to be rushed. You always seem to take your time as though you need to think about it. I would think by now it would be easier for you since you come every week. I suppose if it was too simple, it wouldn't be as exciting.
I must admit I'm tuned up and ready for you as I've made plans to enjoy you to the fullest. Don't hesitate to make my happiness a priority...I'm worth it.

A day known as FRIDAY

If you missed last week's post, it's probably because Friday was sneaky and slipped by.

At the end of a long or short week at work, there's no better name for a day than FRIDAY. The essence of all that's good for the weekend is known by none other than Friday...believe it. Many have worked hard just to hear it for many different reasons, be it  payday or vacation...either way, the name remains the same.

Friday comes only once a week.unless you're retired or unemployed, then it shows up every day. So work hard for it, love it, and most of all enjoy it
