i didn't see you slip in today, I was not quite myself as I have been feeling a bit under the weather as they say! You're almost gone and I haven't enjoyed you like I wanted to because of symptoms that tried to control my body. I had to put my foot down and tell them to leave me alone so I can enjoy this holiday and the time I've been blessed to be off from work! Please forgive me !

HELLO Friday!
We made it and so far it's been grand, good things all around, despite the inclement weather we're experiencing off and on this otherwise beautiful and productive day! Had a great time at one of my Small Group meetings sharing testimonies of God's goodness and His faithfulness, Yes! If He said He'll do it, by golly He will! The ladies I spent time with were the epitome of "blessed" and it made me realize how very fortunate I am to be a part of the family of God.
Of course sweet Friday this doesn't in any way diminish what you mean to me or how I feel about you...two very different feelings that are dear to me! You are here and hope for the weekend rises to a level of great expectancy. I'm ready for you, bring it on!
With a big smile on my face and a pep in my step, I'm prepared for the most fun the weekend can bring! Fill me!

We sailed right through Hump Day and find ourselves here at this time on Friday Eve, getting all prepped for the sweetness of Friday! Let's make it great! My list is long, but I plan to take some small bites today and cut that list in half.
Today we're decorating for Christmas at work and it's always all hands on deck, so we make it happen in a few hours and it's always beautiful ! Can't wait to see what it looks like when we finish.

So stinkin happy to see you my dear sweet friend Friday! I have to admit yesterday kinda blew me away, it was Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for...family, friends, and a roof over my head! One HUGE difference that made me linger and bask in the glory of Friday Eve was that I did not have to work on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday which caused me to put off my usual craving for you! You are always my entrance into the weekend, but this week I had a weekend starting right after work on Tuesday. If this continues, will I lose my thirst for you? Or will I always wait for you?
A lot to think about!
Well, today was equally as good as yesterday spending time with three of my best girls going to the movies, Grinching out with popcorn and pop, laughing and making a pitstop at B n N to do a bit of reading, writing and relaxation. Ending our sweet Friday on a good note. No hustle and bustle with crazy crowds spending unnecessarily.  How dare they call my friend Black Friday anyway? You are fabulous Friday !

Challenges with Internet while vacationing can be expected to happen from time to time so it happened to one lovely person who adores Friday but couldn't express it with limited capabilities! Enter Friday! Let me introduce you to the world of the weekend! Longing for your simple touch is what gets me through most weekdays especially this week. It was long and full of unnecessary stress that I didn't need! I'm looking forward to the new season God has planned for me, the one I should've walked into years ago.

I have truly experienced Truth without Grace this week and one without the other is NO good, they have to be combined to be in God's will!

We allow fear to paralyze the blessings that are right before us by limiting God and not stepping out, going forward, putting one foot out ahead of the other. Sometime we have to have "the push" to move  on and finish what was started so long ago.   I'm so grateful for His goodness and mercy that allows me to mess up and still be accepted!

Well, it's a different Friday today, filled with hope of dreams fulfilled!  Enjoy this day that the Lord has truly made...Friday, you make me happy!

Today was quite eventful, actually it was followed by a series of what I'd refer to as work irritation..The prelude to all this bunk was a request for a vacation a mere two months before taking it, accompanied by someone else asking for the exact same time off who made their request 2 weeks before. Discounting the fact that one person has 16 years of service and the other less than 2.

Right now it's too much for me to recite again today as the hour has moved so close to the entrance of my sweet Friday, so I will sleep peacefully and dream good dreams of success and happiness despite the episodes of this week. Vacation will be a welcome turn of events, no work, no questions, no irritation about time off from a job.  Seasons come and seasons go and my season reporting to jobs is coming to a close. I must spend my time working my business for Ive determined I can not do both.

God is with me and provides all I need for life, health, and godliness! Kicking fear to the ground and stomping on it!

Good morning my sweet sweet friend!
This day never catches me by surprise because I wait patiently all week for you dear Friday to show up and it's always expected, yet exciting at the same time. Please know that I NEVER take you for granted!


This day is just getting started and I have so many hopes and dreams for my future every time you visit...you're good for me! When you show up in all your splendor I feel I can do most anything and I will. My energy level just went up 100%. Even though I am at work and have quite a bit to accomplish, I am super confident that I will complete the tasks before me and not lose strength so that the rest of my weekend goes without a hitch!

Well, it's here...FRIDAY,YAY!!! Some of you call it FriYay!
I am about to explode with anticipation for the weekend, not that my plans are grand or super special but just because I can take a deep breath and relax without rising too early to get my daughter and myself up and dressed for work.
Oh the many ways I can enjoy myself this weekend are limitless, at least that's what I keep telling myself! I'm building up for the climax. FUN FUN FUN  is on the horizon! Celebrating my daughter's birthday will be a blast! Until next time...

I can hardly believe it's already been a week since all the commotion had us a little dizzy with the thought of bomb threats and so much mental illness so prevalent in our society these days! Much prayer is needed!
The lighter side of all this is my sweet blog especially on Friday Eve leading up to my favorite end of the work week friend, FRIDAY! Yep, you guessed it, Friday is on the way!
We had a great Thursday small group meeting with "Shining Lights", although few in number today, much was accomplished and I left the meeting feeling more empowered. Can't wait to see what Friday has to offer me. Until then...

After the excitement of yesterday, I admit today is tame and just the right atmosphere for the entrance of my friend Friday! We are already geared and set for fun. So glad to see the weekend come, but not wanting to let go as easily. Latching on to ALL that Friday has  and holding on to it with all my might...,maybe I'll just lie awake and let Saturday ease up on me!


Work can become quite heavy as moments of complete exhaustion fill my bones and I long for Friday to come and soothe me and tell me it  will be alright!


I've waited all week to take this long breath and sigh of relief that I made it yet another week and I'm still kicking, surviving, and thriving!


Tomorrow I have a funeral to attend in Gainesville in the afternoon, not fun but I should go! I will savor all the time left after that and make good use of the remainder of the day!

Wow, what a day! Can't believe it started out so quiet and life as usual until I headed to work only to be detained across the street from my job due to a bomb threat that turned out to be non threatening. We were not allowed on the property for over two hours, in which time I got a great cup of coffee, sat and relaxed for a bit before getting the "all clear" signal to return to work!
What's even harder to believe is that a week ago I was preparing to go to my friends Induction ceremony the next day. Time is short and we must make the most of it and enjoy our time on this earth! Get ready for me Friday!

Such a great program and line up of inventors with so many stories of success that made me feel like even at this point in my life, I can still have a"Ruth" moment! It's that time again, yes yes... Friday Friday, so good I have to say it double! I so look forward to you coming to visit with me on a weekly basis, so much so that last week I was in the moment and never remembered to write about our great time together.

Ok fans! It's now Saturday and time for me to sincerely apologize for a late Friday post, since I'm on vacation and wifi was not readily available...better late than never!

I attended a concert on yesterday so my day was filled with preparation for a great time listening and watching a really talented artist, Lindsey and her violin make music fun that makes you want to move your feet! But she moves so fast I wouldn't be able to catch up even without an instrument! She tells a story with her violin. We waited patiently for her to come out, pending another artist performing for what seemed like hours. Finally we got what we came for despite the awful heat and humidity that tried to consume us and stop our joy!

Here I am sitting up in bed getting myself and my thoughts together for my Thursday workday but I can not wrap my head around the fact that it's almost Friday again.

Why are the days flying by so quickly? Could it be that I'm not getting enough accomplished and want some of my time returned to me? Please give me directions to the "Time Bank" so that I can get a "Time checkbook" or a "Time loan".

Here I am sitting at my desk at work with the weekend on my mind, however Friday makes the workweek less painful by entering so smoothly and quietly changing my mood from anxious to mellow! I'm good and all's right with the world TODAY...Friday!
When I asked a very dear friend of mine what he thought of my blog, he said simply "it's just about Friday", and he's right, it is about Friday and that's the point I'm making! If you get that, then you get me! OK?
No plans this weekend except a baby shower and that is if the weather permits. It's been extremely wet lately, so we'll see! If it rains I'll lock up in my She-Shelter and clean it!

I have been battling some serious back problems which have tried and I emphasize "tried" to incapacitate me with NO success, I am an overcomer and I will not allow this season to be poisoned by illness or setbacks of any kind. Past the pain, I find myself getting better everyday and choose not to listen to those who scream AGE, NO CURE, HEALING doesn't happen and I say to all of that..."I can't hear you" and move on!

I admit I missed our special time together last week, but I had a trip planned and my flight left on Friday morning. Today is our day to move forward, make changes, and grow!

Hello fellow Friday lovers! I have a confession to make as of the last few weeks an unexpected, odd pain gripped me in my back as I attempted to rise from my chair at work and I wasn't able to stand and walk, it devastated me because I had never experienced anything that could slow me down or keep me from performing my tasks! This came as quite a surprise so it affected my inner most being and I admit it was depressing! It first occurred on a  Friday and the last episode again last Friday. It made me begin to feel a fear of Friday, who I've grown so close to over the years. I'm overcoming this so today I charge myself with "No fear of Friday". I will be victorious and have a wonderful visit with my dear friend and enjoy this day to the fullest!

this day has just about come to a close, my friend! We had a very busy and enjoyable time today including a graduation of senior high school students from our academy. Watching them and all their excitement about stepping out into another realm of life. They looked so happy and so alive! Their food was abo very good". It was catered by th" Ivy House" where my girls are taking me for a Mothers Day meal!

Well alright! You are here and in full effect Soon I'll be marching to a different drum as I take on other challenges, change hats, and do some real fun stuff with my girls. We can watch a movie, go somewhere exciting...maybe take a ride  out of town. I might just call it F-Ride-day!


No work tomorrow, no strict schedule tomorrow, and no little bosses, just the BIG BOSS and He's always around...thank you Jesus! You never leave us!  FUN is on the agenda and I must follow protocol!

Ok, here it comes...enter Friday! I'm so excited for this .Friday because I have a lot of prep for my next makeup class and I can't wait to get started. My creative juices are beginning to flow and I'm ready to make some lucky person beautiful.

I plan to make the most of this wonderful moment called Friday because it is truly just a moment. It seems that as quickly as you come, you vanish and Breakfast with love is on the horizon on Saturday morning which is also a highlight of my week. I get to spend it with two gorgeous girls who just happen to take after their mom! lol

Hello on this blessed Friday Eve! Yes, it's the day before the DAY that makes up for all other workdays!
Here I am at work and having a splendid time awaiting my friend, Friday! Last week I was a bit negligent and failed to do all I could to make Friday feel appreciated and loved, but not this time. I'm fully charged and ready to bless and be blessed by all the weekend has to offer and enjoy it to the fullest!

I've done this before and can't believe I'm doing it yet again! My sincere apologies for spending no time with you expressing how I feel! Like a whirlwind, the day came and went...again you were gone before I was able to make plans or pull it together!

Yes, we are here and so very blessed to be here in the land of the living! On this Good Friday I want to express my gratitude to a good God who never fails and never lets me down no matter how difficult life presents itself!

We are preparing for Resurrection Sunday and all it means to me and my family especially at a time when so much evil is at play. We are confident in Christ that we have a savior who delivers us from all harm.

Leading up this blessed day, let us be mindful of the price that was paid to give us this freedom we sometime take for granted.

Can we say Thank you Jesus? This is indeed a good day and I plan to make the most of it!

Here we are, the night before the day that gives me joy at the end of my work week, Friday Eve!
Can't wait to face the day tomorrow,it's Good Friday and I don't even have to work, just pray and enjoy and get ready for a wonderful, blessed, spirit-filled Easter! Jesus raised from death is what it's all about....what he did for us can't be duplicated!

Yes Yes! You made it and came in style! This is the moment, this is the time...Countdown to fun! You heard it, it's Friday and it's about Blast-off time because Linda is about to leave work, put on another hat and get ready for the weekend. This is truly my time and I spend the first part of it with my friend, Friday , the one who makes sure I come correct!
Please make this time last, I'm not ready to let you go!
We will mix it up with some rest and relaxation and lots of planning for the coming week which will be Awesome!

Its Friday Eve and again I get that feeling, heart palpitations and excitement that only Friday can bring. Simply put, I LOVE my Friday...no other day says "job well done" like Friday so I salute you dear friend as I prepare for your entrance!

Once again my friend, we meet and spend a little time together and off you go away for another seven days. I'm learning how to deal with life in between visits so it gets easier to let you go.  We make the most of the time we have together and no regrets.
Lunch today with an old friend was a highlight to my day, we chatted and reminisced and made a promise to not wait so long before getting together again. I went back to work happier than I left. See what you do for me Friday?

 Well we meet again my friend! I am so glad you came and I'd like to keep you for a while longer this time just to chat, hang out and  find out what you do all week long. Hey guys,
I know it's late for my Friday post, yet here I go full speed ahead! You may ask why? Why, because I enjoyed my friend Friday so much I couldn't stop the momentum to sit and write about it, I thought I needed to be about it...and I did!
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love makeup and love making women beautiful and blessing them to feel beautiful as well! Makeup classes are starting in one day, tomorrow as a matter of fact and I've been busy preparing for the clients who signed up. This is my passion and my daughter says I Light up when I'm working on a client. Enhancing the beauty they already have is what I love to do so they can recognize themselves as they tour the mirror, leaving so much better than when they arrived.

Here we are again...no forgetting you today my dear friend! I purposed in my heart to remember and give my undivided attention to you for at least 5 to 10 minutes to just acknowledge you and then at 4:30 you may have me for the rest of the day! I'm yours!


Waiting all week to see you and spend quality time with you is always my aim, although it does not always go as planned, You can't stop planning nor having fun things to look forward to. So this weekend will be filled with fun and laughter, maybe a movie or just maybe cleaning up my not so organized closet, which will make me feel much more relaxed when I'm able to open it and actually find what I'm looking for instead of feeling like I just walked into a warzone!
Even though I'm feeling a bit Saturday-ish right now, you're still my favorite! Don't disappoint me!

Friday Again

Once again I see you and so happy to greet you. I've been with you all day, never acknowledging your presence. For that, I apologize and accept your disappointment in my negligence, however as usual I have an excuse...Linda is a bit overwhelmed and in dire need of a vacation. Not just any vacation, but the kind where you don't work, babysit, cook, caregive, drive, etc. I want to be completely relaxed and at ease to regain lost strength!
Before your next visit, I vow to do my best getting good rest and taking my time to plan spending more time with you my dear Friday. Thank you for understanding!
