The day after

I suppose I was so excited to see you come that I almost missed you.  Anticipating your arrival all week long, just for you to rush in and leave so quickly without a trace. So this post is in honor of you for all I wanted it to be.
The day after was highlighted with a visit from my dear cousin and his very special lady he wanted us to meet. What a sweet meet! She was charming and easy to get to know and most of all she seems to make him happy and that makes me happy. They stayed a while and we really enjoyed the great conversation and fellowship.
All in all, Saturday filled in for Friday. Until later...

Hello my sweet Friday,I almost forgot you because I'm on vacation and ready to see the beach even though my original plan was to go to KY to visit family and enjoy the Carter Reunion. I must do something!

Friday Eve

Okay, I'm either on the verge of not getting blog written at all or finding myself unable to wait so I decide to do a Friday Eve post.
And since I can't wait to kiss the very lips of Friday, I will go to bed dreaming of my super sweet long awaited arrival of Friday. I'm excited that I have some family coming in to pay a visit to the Big O.
Planning on having loads of fun. Laughter will fill my soul because I will allow it to happen. So excited. Until later...

Friday Past

Okay, you're gone and I'm feeling a little sad that you left so abruptly. I tried to hold on to you as long as I could but to no avail...I watched The Sharks make deals and I relished in the time spent with you, if only we could've spent a little more time together, the weekend would surely have been well spent.

Hello Friday, I got so consumed with your arrival that I forgot to acknowledge you in print. Please accept my sincere apologies and I look forward to your next visit.
It was indeed a fabulous day yesterday filled with hopes and dreams of how to enjoy you the most. I even stepped in the name of love...a whopping 11,314 steps in your honor.

Friday's here

I'm having a great day today and hope everyone who reads this blog feels the same, at least at the end of this...giving you a good feeling all over! 

Friday is still my favorite, it helps me look forward to the weekend and things I can get done and do.  No other day has the power to help me plan my future like Friday. My daughter has a regular treat every Friday like clockwork and I supply her with that treat. It's always fun watching her get excited over her Zaxby's chicken and wings. Her sister kept her motivated and entertained today until I got off work and came home. My girls are so cute and lovable and most of all they love each other!

It's amazing how I quickly unwind when I look back on the work week and realize my accomplishments, I get so exhilarated I can hardly contain myself...so I won't. 

Let's get crazy fire it up for Firrrre-iday

My Friend

Friday, how are you my old friend? It's been a while since I've posted on a regular basis, but never were you far from my thoughts. After all I have to face you every week and I must admit I enjoy you so much even if I don't tell you often. Getting back to this blog is healing for me and I hope and pray that I never put you on the back burner ever again.
Today is special as I have definite plans for tomorrow and I look forward to dressing up and wearing a Kentucky Derby hat to a women's hat parade. We all will be fashionable and beautiful!

It's Good Friday April 14, 2017 and it is really really good. Don't think I've ever met a bad Friday so this one certainly is one to be celebrated, it's Easter weekend and the story of Jesus's resurrection is the Super Bowl  of Christianity...it's that important!
Have a blessed Easter and do some fellowship with other believers, maybe invite those who don't know the story to tag along as your special guests!
