Twas the Friday before Christmas and all thru the house not a creature was stirring because it was time to go to bed and sleep but I woke up realizing that I never posted my Friday blog.

You came and you went just as quickly as you came, never giving me the chance to thoroughly enjoy you as I had planned.  Much movement on Friday with maintenance coming to check on things, furniture being delivered. All that got me pretty tired.
Time passes so fast, we must really learn to enjoy every single moment!

in Atlanta for the Thanksgiving holiday, yesterday was full of food, fun, and a few surprises! We are super bloated and loaded so let's get ready to work off all the calories we allowed to enter our pretty little bodies before Christmas comes and claims us once again!
Today my favorite day and I decided o be very low key and avoid most of the Black Friday madness and visit a friend which turned out to be the best idea ever. She was so accommodating and such a great hostess that we were there a bit longer than planned. So we are safely backin,our room, relaxing and enjoying the ones I love!

I'm writing this blog late at night because I didn't post a Friday Eve message! So listen up, it won't be read before tomorrow anyhow, right? Consistency is key and I'm determined to give it my best shot! Today was great, my daughter and I checked on a few household things, did some discussion and some reading so it was overall a really good day.
Looking forward to yet another great day despite the rainy forecast for my sweet Friday. Can't imagine why you want to bring me rain when you know how much I love the sunshine. As Roy Ayers says "Everybody loves the sunshine".

Again, I waited all week for this moment to spend with you and bring the weekend in together. I love the way it follows you  like it's attached to you somehow!
Even though there's sorrow sometimes, we can always find the beauty in just being alive and capable of giving and receiving love. Saturday is bringing with it a funeral of a dear friend I hadn't seen in several years which reminds me how important it is to reach out to your loved ones and friends because life is good!

One of my best friends from high school passed this morning at 5:05 am after suffering  in ICU and ultimately checking out from this life so relief and sorrow are my feelings right now. I can no longer call her or hear her voice, I will miss that!
This is truly a different kind of Friday...not full of laughs but full of joy at just being alive and having my family with me!

I can say it's been an incredibly busy week and I'm exhausted and ready for Friday to come in and give me a massage, ease my pain, smooth my tired body and bathe me with relaxation! Good morning readers and listeners! This is the day the good Lord has provided for us, we should all Rejoice, put a Big smile on our pretty little faces!

I will refer to this particular Friday as do-over Friday because of Dorian the mighty Cat 5 hurricane that devastated the Bahamas and caused major inconveniences to us in Florida! No Labor Day was celebrated at my home so this weekend will be the one. Can you say "excited"?

So very grateful that we were not hit by winds and rain as predicted by our media and meteorologist which proves that our trust has to be in the Almighty God! Only He can turn the tide and He did!

Im so sad about losing my Friday blog I started on Friday morning so I check to see if I published it only to find its gone...so sorry! By the way, it was a very good day! On Thursday the Hilton was closed to just me and my party and we thoroughly enjoyed being catered to. Great food, great company, great time!

It's Friday and it's like a holiday, not having to go to work and chill at home has been like a gift from God! And it was. Little did I know that Friday Eve would actually be my last day at my job of 17 years. My 2 weeks notice would have me ending employment at 4:30 today. I know I should accept this as a bonus but I'm a creature of plans and 24 hours threw me off a bit! It was truly an unexpected surprise and I have to admit, I did NOT turn down the offer to be off! I said OK.
I feel such a rush of freedom, the kind of rush that makes me feel invincible, motivated, and youthful!
Who was it that said"timing is everything"? They were right on the money! I am extremely blessed!

Here we are at the star of the show, the real deal...Friday! So glad to see your face, waking up to your smile and brightness makes me feel alive and ready to rise. I feel as though I can do anything!

What do you do when you lose a family member who is not old yet and had so much to offer? My sister received her wings on Wednesday at 2:22pm and though she's home with the Lord, she is absent from us, her family, her friends. How do you cope, especially in the beginning? It's so fresh and it hurts and it baffles me how it happened! Constantly I remind myself of where she is and how she must be smiling, being pain-free and worry-free and not riddled with stress and the things of this world. There is where I find solace and peace! Her race was run and run well!

So thank you Friday for the rescue, it's truly been a long, difficult week, but we made it!

Well Hello Friday, my day! Oh yeah, it's about to blow up because it's the end of yet another long week. Hate to see it pass so fast but so thankful for you Friday, you make my day!
As usual I fell asleep during that all so exciting game last night and I don't remember when it happened, I just drifted off to slumberland...and it was good!

Hello readers! Here we are again, waiting patiently on Friday and watching the Warriors and Raptors compete while preparing for tomorrow's fun and excitement.
Something I noticed tonight prior to the start of the game. They played clips of past games from long ago where The guys wore short shorts that were a bit more fitted and showed much of their legs and thighs where today the shorts are big, loose and long! What I'm getting at is that the men are showing less and women are showing more than ever...even the BIG girls! Maybe even more! Just an observation, can't wait for your responses. Today started with a Word Weavers writing group with my daughter to gain extra writing tips and tricks that will help me in my quest to author a best seller! It's in my heart so I must now put it to paper! What a thrill! Shortly after leaving the meeting, I was prompted to check on a package that had not yet arrived, then home again to get more fundraising work done!
Favor is my friend also, someone called me to offer to look at my air conditioner in my "hot no air" car! How good is that? Believing for it to be something minor or can be repaired inexpensively! Anyhow I'm looking forward.

Yes it's late at night but I'm determined to succeed by posting regularly on schedule, so here tis! I'm ready for tomorrow, at least in my mind! Even though Monday was a holiday, my little family and I spent our time in the ER section of the hospital with the sounds of guttural coughing and other unpleasant sounds of cold and flu symptoms ! Glad we escaped unscathed!
Then the work week started for me in full force acceleration...Help!!! Lots of work to do, new rules and regulations to follow. Change happens even while we sleep so prepare for your future!

OK, it's like this, I am so ready to be off and get my weekend on but let's backtrack to yesterday for just a minute. How many of you readers look forward to V Day? Better known as Valentine's Day! Surely it rings a bell for some and others who just want it to pass as quickly as possible so they don't have to think about what they didn't get, sound familiar?
Well, call me an old romantic, but I love love and I adore special occasions and special gifts that show how much you're appreciated and also to give that special someone something in return! There's nothing wrong with special days especially if your loved one is fond of them, so cut the selfish behavior and give give and love love so you can live live!

I'm excited yet a bit anxious to get more done before seeing my friend Friday tomorrow! Today is also Valentine's Day and every girl deserves a sweety!. So where's mine?

Once again I find myself back on Friday Eve wishing it was Friday, the day it all starts to get real for me! I can begin to unwind and dream, get creative, even rest from the long week I just put behind me. But wait! I'm not there yet, it's only Thursday AKA Friday Eve, masking itself as my favorite day. You can't fool me because I've got a job and it's clear that I have another day to work!

Hello Friday! You really know how to make an entrance and you never fail to excite me in the most endearing ways! I feel relaxed and not rushed and when you arrive I feel as though I can conquer anything. It's amazing how I long for you all week , then you arrive and in a split second you're gone!

Thursday, how are you? Getting to you late today, so I can make this short since there will be much joy in the morning! My friend Friday will rescue me and sweep me off my tiny little baby feet!

Rescue me! You have finally arrived, beautiful. fruitful, fine and on-time!
This could be the highlight of my day although today I'm looking for so much more even though you are truly a delight...I need some real recharging after a very long week. Another busy Saturday on the horizon so I must prepare and repair to make it happen tomorrow!
God is good and He is faithful so all that I have petitioned Him for, I'm getting ready to receive! Hope you feel me! Everything is lining up despite the rocks in the road and the detour signs. so I'm set on "GO", are you?

A day known as FRIDAY

If you missed last week's post, it's probably because Friday was sneaky and slipped by.

At the end of a long or short week at work, there's no better name for a day than FRIDAY. The essence of all that's good for the weekend is known by none other than Friday...believe it. Many have worked hard just to hear it for many different reasons, be it  payday or vacation...either way, the name remains the same.

Friday comes only once a week.unless you're retired or unemployed, then it shows up every day. So work hard for it, love it, and most of all enjoy it
