Friday Eve

This is Friday Eve, the day before my day Friday! Of course as of last Friday, it no longer has the same meaning because I'm stepping into a new season...more news tomorrow!
Enjoy this day and this moment!

Friday

It's Friday and it's like a holiday, not having to go to work and chill at home has been like a gift from God! And it was. Little did I know that Friday Eve would actually be my last day at my job of 17 years. My 2 weeks notice would have me ending employment at 4:30 today. I know I should accept this as a bonus but I'm a creature of plans and 24 hours threw me off a bit! It was truly an unexpected surprise and I have to admit, I did NOT turn down the offer to be off! I said OK.
I feel such a rush of freedom, the kind of rush that makes me feel invincible, motivated, and youthful!
Who was it that said"timing is everything"? They were right on the money! I am extremely blessed!

Good lovely morning Friday! This has been a very busy week leading to my retirement from one season of my life and although I'm extremely excited, I'm also a bit anxious to get to the new season if no more than to feel some balance and stability! New moves always come with a price!
As the the day approaches, there are quite a few things to put in order so one week from today, I will be heading to new adventures and travels...so good, so exciting!

Every time Friday walks in, heads turn and excitement starts to rev up his engine and the weekend begins. I'm so ready and able to kick it up a notch! Woo hoo!
