FRIDAY

Hi Sweet Friend,
You always notify me that I've made it through yet another work week and all is well and blessed.  This weekend is quite special being Memorial Day weekend, hoping and praying that people don't just look at it as just another holiday to go and get self-pleasure, but take the time to be thankful to our soldiers here and now, and those there and then who gave their time and lives to give us a better America. We certainly honor our men in uniform and those without uniform who offered service to our country. This indeed is a special time...let's celebrate accordingly!

FRIDAY AGAIN

Okay Lovely readers,
This week has been one of my hardest weeks and it's taken much out of me to survive mentally to bring this blog to you today, but I'm quite a soldier and I stand tall no matter what adverse circumstances come my way...
Soooo, here it goes:
This is the day the Lord has made and I plan to rejoice, and rejoice, and rejoice, and let nothing stand in the way of my "HAPPY". I am so excited about my Non-Profit Organization starting up again, reaching young people all over the globe with hope for the future. So it's cheer-up time for sure...the weekend is still promising me that Friday is still doing its thing and I'm in line for all the blessings it can bring.

Friday Again and Again

Here we are again on a beautiful sunny Florida Friday, enjoying a bit of a breeze and sunshine at the same time...everyone should have a little Florida Friday.

My post time is limited so I'll share with you something I listened to online that struck me as quite interesting and that was to change our focus and not complain about things we must do, such as work, cook, or take care of the hubby and kids after a long day at the job...instead we should be thankful that we have a job and we get to take care of those we love.

Here's the good part: it spoke about Friday and focusing on the weekend...oops! Sounds like he was picking on my Friday blog when he said we should make every day Friday so that we enjoy life and not be creepy about Monday and those other nice days we complain about. WHAT? My thinking is if everyday is Friday, where is my weekend? That's why we love Friday so much...just sayin!

Hello Friday,
With the days and weeks passing so fast, it seems as though You never come, maybe if you showed up twice a week, it would make your time with me much more fulfilling. I don't think I've ever told you this but I prefer your visits to start in the afternoon ...after 4:pm, I can spend more quality time with you when I'm off from work. You deserve my full attention and I want you to have it.
